Pets are family too. Why shouldn't they be able to go on holidays with you? Wongari is proudly pet-friendly.

Albeit the usual proviso that they don't cause our wildlife grief and 0ur cleaners extra work ie no dogs on the bed and all hair to be vacuumed away. Tar. That way we'll be able to stay happily pet-friendly.

Generally, our findings at least, is that the family pet is so happy to be in 'country' that they don't even think to shed hair, destroy shoes or bark incessantly. They too begin to feel 'alive'. They run with outrageous energy. Sometimes, just in circles, but there are wide open spaces for their play. And followed by a good stretch on  generous decks where they can  lay their weary heads down. 

It is revealing too that dogs are the preferred pet (we've had one cat :). We think that is for two clear reasons: dogs are happy wherever they go so long as it is with their human companions;  open country, with all its smells and 'leg room', is in their DNA; and, afterall, they are 'man's best friend'.

While the temptation to chase the odd cow or wallaby is always there they are invariably restrained. It seems they are as happy to share their space with other animals as their owners are happy to share their company in country they can both connect to. 

But please do inform us that there will be pet company. It helps us prepare with the pet-friendly in mind.
